'''Leo Vandewoestijne''' is a professional unicyclist. Through his international contacts he learned about the internet, at the early stage when it still was a very elite thing in The Netherlands. After creating his website, he soon got many requests, rolled into web-development, and not much later started to offer virtual hosting, followed by dedicated, colocated and managed hosting. The whole hosting company was unplanned. But after the competition made it hard to make profitable margins, he went to specialize himself into his great interest: DNS, including setting up an own [[ASN]] and own anycast.

That brought him a job at the company behind largest ccTLD (.tk), and so he's currently [[DNS]] engineer at [[Freenom]].

Leo's first [[ICANN Meetings|ICANN meeting]] was [[ICANN 50 - London|ICANN 50]] in London. He is interested in [[DNS]], Security, and Routing.<ref name="icannwiki" />
