Mada Silalahi

Raja Mada Silalahi (“Mada”) is the founder of Rajamada & Partners. Mada’s practice is focused on matters involving Information Technology, Intellectual Property.

He is a licensed advocate and a member of the Associations of Indonesian Advocates

(PERADI). He is also registered to practice before the Indonesia Intellectual Property Office as an IP Consultant. He is also a licensed curator (receiver) and administrator in a bankruptcy or suspension of payment processes.

He has been involved in advising clients on full range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property works. He also possesses a range of experience in several commercial intellectual property related transactions, domain names and franchising works, as well as number of anti-counterfeiting projects in several major cities in Indonesia.

He has also been involved in advising clients on information technology law issues such as drafting related ICT agreements, assisting numerous multinational and local corporations with launching their e-commerce, m-commerce and technology platforms and has experience in advising on a wide range of IT Law related issues including cloud computing technological platforms.

He holds two master degrees namely: Master of Laws in Information Communication Technology (LL.M) and Master of Philosophy in International Human Rights Laws. Both his master degrees were obtained from the University of Oslo, Norway.
