* On December 30, 2021, in a [[CircleID]] [https://circleid.com/posts/20211230-icannas-accountability-mechanisms-in-name-only blog post],  [[Jeff Neuman]] questioned the practicality of [[ICANN]]’s [[ICANN Accountability|Accountability Mechanisms]], called for ICANN's Whistleblower Policy to extend to persons other than [[:Category:ICANN Staff|employees of ICANN]], and accused ICANN of retaliating against [[.hiphop|DHH]] for filing an Urgent Reconsideration Request citing [[ICANN Organization|ICANN staff]]'s inaction in responding to its Assignment Request for the .hiphop [[Registry Agreement]]. ICANN has paused any further consideration of DHH’s Assignment request pending the outcome of the Reconsideration Request by the [[ICANN Board]] Accountability Mechanisms Committee (BAMC).
