Before that, he was the Founder and CEO of Farsight Security from July 2013 to November 2021. He is the author of several RFCs and well-known UNIX system programs, including SENDS, proxynet, rtty, and Vixie cron. He was elected to [[ARIN]]'s board of trustees in 2004 and reelected in 2007 and 2010. Paul was elected chairman in 2009 and 2010.
