She is currently the Legal and Business Manager of NIC Chile, in charge of designing the administrative and commercial policies as well as the administration of the local domain name dispute resolution system. Along with her participation in the steering group of NIC Chile and in the Chilean National Council for Domain Names and IP Numbers, Margarita provides legal assistance in intellectual property, industrial property and cybercrime to different governmental organizations, such as the Chilean Civil Police, Ministries and Official Departments.
