Oratile Slave is an Attorney employed by the Attorney General's Chambers of the Republic of Botswana in the International and Commercial Division. She negotiates and drafts International and Commercial Agreements which the Government is party to and gives legal advise on the same. She represents Government on various Technical Advisory Committes including the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on the .bwDomainName which is housed by the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA).She advises the TAC on issues of policy development and management. She is also a member of various professional societies. These include the Botswana Information Technology Society.

My involvement with the ICANN and Internet Governace space began with the London ICANN 50 Public International Meeting in 2014, Singapore ICANN 52 Public International Meeting Fellowship Programme in 2015 and the 2017 ICANN Policy meeting that took place in Johannesburg, South Africa. Back home, am involved with Botswana Information Society (BITS) on Public Awareness outreach in ICT and Law.
