Chharia started his career with his family business of Manufacturing Packaging Materials in 1974 as CEO.

Since the very inception of Internet in India in 1998, he has been a part of the industry. He was one of the first [[ISP|Internet Service Providers]] of India. From there he started contributing to the Internet community as an Executive Council member of ISP Association of India (ISPAI).
