SWITCH is the organization which manages the .ch ccTLD for Switzerland.[1] It previously managed the .li ccTLD for Liechtenstein as well.
As of January 2015, under the Ordinance on Internet Domains, the SWITCH Foundation ceased selling .ch domain names and handed over its client base to its registrars. Its focus, rather than on operating the .ch domain name directory, will be focused on a maintaining a secure and stable Swiss Internet. [2]
