Schlund + Partner was a leading registrar in Germany before being taken over by 1&1 Internet AG. 1&1 Internet AG held 66% of the company since 1998[1], though the complete take-ver and merger was not affected until 2007.[2]
As of 2004 it was Europe's largest registrar, with some 350 employees and an annual turnover of 100 million euros.[3]
