Shadi Abou-Zahra works with the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) as the Accessibility Strategy and Technology Specialist.[1]
Career History
Abou-Zahra has worked for W3C for over 17 years, coordinating accessibility priorities and the international promotion and harmonization of web accessibility standards. Abou-Zahra maintains WAI liaisons with disability, research, and standards organizations, runs WAI outreach in Europe, accessibility evaluation techniques, and European-funded projects on accessibility.
ICANN and Internet Governance Participation
Abou-Zahra is a member of the Technical Experts Group.
