The [[Sunrise]], [[Landrush]], and [[Pioneer Domains Program]] went historically smooth for [[.asia]]. It conceived of the Pioneer Domains Program as an alternative to the general first-come-first-serve policy usually put in place through the [[Sunrise]] and [[Landrush]] periods.
