==History==
 +
In 1998, Daly and Dyn's CEO [[Jeremy Hitchcock]], along with two other students, Tom Wilde and Chris Reinhardt, founded a free DNS service at their college in Worcester Polytechnic Institute. It was called DynDNS, and was birthed from a personal desire to access lab reports on their home computer from a school lab. The business began as a free service but soon grew to a donation-based model, which enabled them to make $40,000 in weeks, from users around the world.<ref>[http://www.hippopress.com/read-article/living-the-digital-dream Living the Digital Dream: How a local tech company found international success and a possible recipe for NH's future].
