Dr. Anurag Vijay Agrawal is the Director at J. P. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut (Approved by A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh). He holds three Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering, Law and Science, two Master’s Degrees in Engineering and Public Administration, and one Ph.D. degree. He completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering with Wireless and Mobile Communications Specialization at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He has been associated as a Consultant with Electronics & ICT Academy IIT Roorkee, an initiative supported by MeitY, Govt of India. He has 23 years of academic, research, administrative, management, and consultancy experience. His about 40 IPR and other research contributions include U.K./Germany/India patents, designs, copyrights, books, book chapters, international/national journals, and conference publications. He was a recipient of the IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section Young Professional Star Award in 2021. Dr. Agrawal is a nominated member of the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies Sectional Committee, Bureau of Indian Standards, India. In October 2022, he was included in Panel 6 (Blockchain Use Cases) of the Committee. In January 2024, he was nominated as a Member of the Technical Committee, Structural and Process Reforms in Standardization, Bureau of Indian Standards. He has been part of the Technical Program Committee of several international conferences, organized special track sessions at international conferences, and is a Reviewer for many prestigious international journals including IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, Telecommunication Systems, The Lancet Regional Health – Southeast Asia, and Decision Analytics Journal. He is entitled to use the title of Chartered Engineer (India) and is a member of many national and international professional societies, viz. Institution of Engineers (India), IEEE (USA), Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Society for Technical Education, Internet Society (USA), and Life Member of the International Association of Engineers (Hongkong). His current research interests are in the areas of MIMO/Massive MIMO communications, energy efficiency, high-speed Railways communications, Intelligent Transportation Systems, 5G/6G Signal Generation & Enhancement, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Blockchain and Electronic Ledger Technologies, Internet Governance and Internet of Things.
