Chantelle has a background in international relations. She was a Rotary International Peace Fellow at the University of Queensland (Australia), and spent time with the UN in Fiji in conjunction with her MA program, where she researched how UNSCR 1325, as a policy mandate, was translated/interpreted into a local context by women leaders.
