==Checking In==

Hi, just wanted to check in with you. I see you haven't made any changes on the site for over a week and wanted to make sure that everything was alright. Thanks. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]

: Good to know. Just wanted to make sure we didn't lose you! [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]

==Sorry==

I am reworking the assigned batches to eliminate duplicates. Sorry for the inconvenience, I will keep you updated as I make any significant changes to your assignment. If you don't have enough articles I am in the process of completing your list.

==Acronyms==

Yes, all of those are the correct acronyms. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]

==Progress==

How is the batch coming? It seems to be slow going. Let me know if there are any problems, and when you'll be able to more fully dedicate your team to this project. Thanks, [[User:Andrew|Andrew]]

I appreciate the update. [[User:Andrew|Andrew]]

==Template==
 +
Hi, I've been going through your latest articles a bit and noticed you've used the old version of the company infobox template. Please make sure you are using the newest version in the future, which you can find my searching for "Template:CompanyInfo" in the search bar. Thanks. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]
 +
: Great, that is correct. It seems like you have used an older version of the template a few times, however, for example on [[LSE]]. This version of the template does not include Facebook and LinkedIn. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]

==Attention to Detail==
 +
One of the articles you completed, [[NSI]], actually already exists as [[Network Solutions]]; thus, I was merging the two articles together when I noticed that you had used material from Wikipedia without referencing it, more or less copy and pasting it. There are a number of problems with this:
 +
# We expect writers to only use material that can be supported by references
 +
# We don't use Wikipedia as a reference; it is okay to use Wikipedia as background research and to follow their sources they list, but we do not use them directly
 +
# We don't include copy and pasted info on the site, it must be rewritten to show an original take on the material
 +
I will be working on the NSI article some more, so don't worry about fixing that. But please, if you and your workers have used Wikipedia without referencing it, or have otherwise copied material, fix those issues now. Thanks for your attention to this. [[User:Andrew|Andrew]]

Thanks so much, I know you're generally doing a very good job, so I appreciate your helpful and aware response to the issue. Keep up the good work. [[User:Andrew|Andrew]]

==Batch 2==
 +
We are currently all working hard at the Singapore ICANN conference and won't have time to begin editing your articles; after the conference every one of the ICANNWiki team is going to be taking a few weeks off for vacation, Thus, we won't begin editing your batch until early July. Thanks for your patience. Please do not start on any part of Batch 3 until after we have edited/you have talked to me. Thanks again for your patience. [[User:Andrew|Andrew]]

==Back==
 +
Thanks for the update! Let me know what pages are giving you trouble and we can maybe decide to pursue a replacement article instead. Also, it is no longer nec. to redirect the pages form the old site as the entire old site has been redirected, as you noticed! [[User:Andrew|Andrew]]

Overlap happens occasionally. Let me know of any issues you have re: other duplicates. I will replace the RFC article on your page with a new one now. [[User:Andrew|Andrew]]

==Batch 2==
 +
As you can see, I've been editing your current batch. Just wondering where you were at with finishing the rest of the articles. Thanks. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]
 +
:: It's fine if you can't write that much on the topic. For the ones that don't have anything, you can replace them with ones from the incomplete 3rd batch. Thanks! [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]
 +
:: I've added [[RRPproxy]] and [[CSG]] to replace PDEPDP and STI-DT. I've also added [[CPH]] to make up for the shortness of [[NCPH]]. I assume it will be just as short. Thanks for all your great work. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]

== Re: Grouping similar references from the article  ==
 +
 +
Yes, please do not group the links. None of the other writers do it, and we prefer it to be uniform. Thanks for noticing! [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]

==Batch 2 replacement==
 +
 +
Hi, I discovered we already had an article for RRPproxy under a different name, so I have replaced this with [[Netnod]], which is currently a stub. Sorry about this. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]

== Re: POC ==

Th answer to both questions is yes! Good catch, thank you. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]
 +
:: I have replaced POC with TLG.

==Writer Update Re: Refs==
 +
Hola, I hope all is well. I would like to notify you that from this point forward we would like you to cite references slightly differently. The only thing we would like you to change is how you name the reference. Before, we would just name it after the URL so <nowiki> http://singapore41.icann.org/ </nowiki> would be labelled as "ICANN.org". Now, we would like you to label the reference after the actual title of the article or page and not the URL. So that same reference would instead read "ICANN Singapore Meeting"... Does this make sense? Please continue to reference all material, but when naming the source within the <nowiki> <ref> brackets </nowiki> make sure to name the reference after its actual content as opposed to its URL location.
 +
 +
No need to fix old articles. But from now on please follow this rule. Please let me know if this is unclear. [[User:Andrew|Andrew]]

==Batch 2==

Hi, I've approved you for payment for Batch 2. Sorry it's taken so long! I really appreciate that you went back through your first batch to add templates. I have taken a quick look at the [[GPML]] article and it looks fine. Thanks for all your great work. [[User:Caterina|Caterina]]
