Vint Cerf serves as chairman of the board of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ([[ICANN]]). Vint was seated at the 1999 annual meeting, having been selected by the Protocol Supporting Organization. He was selected by the nominating committee for a term on the Board of Directors, which runs from 26 June 2003 through the 2004 annual meeting.
