The .et domain names have been available for registration by entities connected with Ethiopia since 1991.[2]

Rules and Restrictions[edit | edit source]

Only entities that are located in or related to Ethiopia are allowed to register a .et domain name. These include Ethiopian individuals, institutions, or organizations. Foreign entities may also be allowed if they have a significant presence or interest in Ethiopia.[2]
