The University of Guam (UOG) is the registry operator for Guam's .gu ccTLD. The Network Operations Center, a part of the UOG's Office of Information Technology, provides technical and administrative registry operations for the University.[1] Registration fees for .gu domains are paid directly to the UOG Foundation.[2]

Registration for the .gu domain is restricted to companies registered with the Department of Revenue & Taxation on Guam.[3] Businesses who qualify may choose to register their business name, or may propose a domain name that is descriptive of a product or service that the business provides.[4]. As of March 2021, it is estimated that there are fewer than 100 active .gu domains.[5]
