.vi is the ccTLD for the United States Virgin Islands. It is managed by the Virgin Islands Public Telecommunications System, Inc.[1]

Rules and Restrictions[edit | edit source]

Anyone can register under .vi, but residents and businesses of St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix and Water Island can purchase .vi domain names at a reduced cost.[2]

The Applicant must warrant to the registry that neither the registration of the Domain Name, nor how the Domain Name is directly or indirectly used, infringes the legal rights of a third party.[3]
