Alex Tajirian is the founder and CEO of DomainMart, which he launched in 1996, thereby creating the first domain name secondary market. DomainMart expanded its domain-name service offerings to managing and protecting online identity, appraisal and valuation, monetization, and marketing; though it now tends to focus mostly on valuation.
During his seventeen years of academic and practical experience, he has taught finance, business policy, and business strategy at U.C. Berkeley's Graduate School of Business. His non-academic experience includes consulting on financial-risk monitoring for major, American financial institutions, such as: Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, Morgan Stanley, Financiometrics, and BARRA.
