☞ About Me:

I'm Alexander, a creative strategist from super school Hyper Island. I'm currently enjoying myself in LA, doing cool and culturally relevant stuff at Protein. When I arrived I was really impressed by the campus. I love studying in this environment it’s beautiful. I’ve also been really impressed with the facilities here. The information available and the assistance offered to students is phenomenal. For example, I visited the Library to enquire about a book I was interested in and they didn’t have it. The staff were really helpful and ordered me a copy. Within a week, they had bought the book and I was able to read it. You can really see and feel the effort that the staff put into the teaching and learning process.

I’d say the best thing about la is the opportunity to get a first-class education. All of the modules I have studied on the MPA have been useful, relevant and interesting and I hope that this programme will help to facilitate the change in a career direction that I am looking for, whether this be in a multilateral organisation or through starting my own business. I've decided to keep things easy here, after all, I'm busy at work, so I uploaded my portfolio and resume as PDFs. The good thing about it, since they are PDFs, you can download them and save me forever on your hard drive. I would like that. also worked as an online journalist for NDR.de, the website of the North German Radio with my wife lissa. In the semantic field, she blogs about media, network policy et cetera. Links accumulate to delicious, photos on Flickr, films on Vimeo.

My Worst experiance

It was when my daughter was hit by a car (she was on a bicycle), the insurance company called regularly (she had a broken collarbone). So did lawyers. I took advantage of a free consultation with an personal injury lawyer, who said her ultimate settlement should be about the same amount. I then negotiated with the insurance company herself and ended up with a settlement that was more than she would have gotten if a car accident lawyer wasn't involved (thanks to a lawyer at downtownlalaw) and the insurance company paid less than they would have if a lawyer wasn't involved.
