Chris McElroy has been involved in Internet Governance and ICANN as an observer and sometimes critic and has been a participant in working groups through the DNSO, GNSO, TLDA, the GA and others since 1998. Current member of The Internet Society.
He sued ICANN to get them to eliminate the grace period and sued Network Solutions in the same lawsuit to stop them from abusing the grace period. The lawsuit turned into a class action and ICANN and Network Solutions settled.
