Dr Christopher C Nwannenna is a product of the universities of Nigeria, Leeds, and Sheffield universities where he obtained degrees of BSc, MSc, and PhD respectively. His studies spanned the areas of Statistics, Computing and Operations Research. Dr Nwannenna pioneered the Computer Science program at the University of Port Harcourt where he taught for a number of years before joining the IT industry. He is currently the Chief Executive of Condata Systems Limited- a software development and services company based in Lagos Nigeria. Condata Systems develops multimodal biometrics registration applications incorporating face and fingerprints.
Dr Chris Nwannenna was the two-time President of Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), the umbrella body of all IT professionals in Nigeria, from 2003 to 2007. He was a founding member of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association where he is currently a member of the Board of Trustees. He is also a Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society.
