Host Europe Group (HEG) provides web hosting, domain name registrations, data centers and other services.[1] It is was founded in 1997 and has grown into one of Europe's largest registrars and hosting providers.

HEG runs much of its business through subsidiary brands, including ICANN accredited registrars 123-reg and DomainFactory.

Acquisition by GoDaddy

In December 2016, it was announced that GoDaddy was acquiring HEG for $1.8 billion.[2] On April 3, 2017, GoDaddy announced that the acquisition had been completed.[3]
