John Crain is currently ICANN's Chief Security, Stability & Resiliency Officer. Since the beginning of his career, John has been involved in the administration of Internet Identifiers. In October 2013, it was announced that Crain would take over the duties of outgoing Chief Security Officer Jeff Moss in 2014.
Before assuming his current position he was the Chief Technical Officer at ICANN, a role he held since 2004. Mr. Crain has also served as the Manager of Internal Operation at RIPE NCC. He is a member of the RSSAC Caucus.
