LACIGF 2020 was an event held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, from September 8-10, 2020. The program addressed a range of topics, including digital inclusion; the role of the Internet during the pandemic; digital transformation and the adoption of emerging technologies in a post-COVID-19 context; strategies to connect unserved populations; Internet governance; gender and intersectionality; and the beginning of a new cycle for the LACIGF process.[1]
