DR. RAMIM ISLAM IBNE NOOR Physician, Writer, Presenter, Social activist
DR. RAMIM ISLAM IBNE NOOR was born in a respectable family at Dinajpur in Bangladesh.
He completed MBBS from Rangpur Medical College, under Rajshahi University. Dr. Ramim is trained in Medicine. He is now on study deputation for MD (Internal Medicine) at Mymensingh Medical College as Officer on Special Duty of DGHS of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Before that, he was working as an Indoor Medical Officer of the Medicine Department at Rangpur Medical College Hospital. He gathered experience as an Indoor Medical Officer of Rangpur Community Medical College Hospital and Medical Officer of Police Lines School & College, Rangpur.
He was engaged with the Leo Clubs Programme of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest voluntary service organization; assigned in different positions at the club level and also at the District level. He also served as President of Leo District 315A2, Bangladesh in 2013-2014. The International Association of Lions Clubs rewarded him Best Leo Award, 100% Leo Club President Award & due to outstanding performance received International and national Appreciation Awards.
Dr. Ramim Islam is an ex-cadet. In BNCC he achieved the highest rank Cadet under Officer (CUO). He had served as Battalion Sergeant Major and achieved so many awards. He also played so many voluntary services in Youth Ending Hunger, Medicine Club, etc. He is a life member of the Family Planning Association of Bangladesh and served very efficiently as a member of the National Youth Forum of FPAB. He is an excellent organizer and Founded Prottoy Spondon Foundation. Now, this social organization is working for helpless people. He is a trainer and motivational speaker. As a cultural person too, he is enjoying writing, acting, and anchoring. Kabboprohor is his first published book (Book Fair 2017).
Dr. Ramim is married to Dr. Laila Fardaus Ety. They have a child named Rumaisa Islam Inaya and having an extraordinarily happy life with her.
