Sergey Gorbunov

Sergey Gorbunov currently works as Director of Registry Services at it.com Domains, the registry operator for the corresponding domain extension and a registry service provider. In his role, he oversees the company's registry backend business and is also responsible for channel development in the APAC region.

Sergey started his career in the domain industry in 2007 and has a substantial track record in global product management, vendor and customer relations. Prior to joining it.com Domains, he was employed with major European domain name registrars, with his most recent experience at CentralNic Reseller, one of the leading international wholesale providers. Sergey has contributed to the launch and promotion of a number of top-level domains introduced as part of the ICANN New gTLD Program, and has been an active participant in the ICANN Community since 2009. He regularly travels to and speaks at domain-focused events.
