Mona is currently a Doctoral student at the Oxford Internet Institute (OII) at the University of Oxford, where she studies how social media could be used to manipulate the public opinion. Mona joined the Computational Propaganda project at the OII as a Research Assistant with a focus on the Middle East. Before joining Oxford University, Mona was awarded a Ford Foundation fellowship to study a dual degree program at the American University in Cairo.
