Deborah Escalera joined [[ICANN]] as a member of the gTLD Team on 31 October 2011 as the team's administrative assistant. She now coordinates the [[NextGen at ICANN|NextGen@ICANN]] program under the Development and Public Responsibility Department. She is responsible for supporting the operation of the [[Fellowship Program|Fellowship]] and [[NextGen at ICANN|NextGen Programs]] through coordination of work plans, materials and outreach.

Deborah Escalera joined ICANN as a member of the gTLD Team on 31 October 2011 as the team's administrative assistant. She then moved on to become a Business Analyst for the team and has recently changed departments to become the Coordinator for the NextGen@ICANN program under the Development and Public Responsibility Department. She is responsible for supporting the operation of the Fellowship and NextGen Programs through coordination of work plans, materials and outreach. Prior to joining ICANN, Deborah’s background was in community outreach, education, and Emergency Management for the American Red Cross and The Los Angeles Air Force Base.
