Flip Petillion has been handling court litigations and arbitrations for nearly 30 years in the areas of intellectual property, information technology, media & entertainment, Internet, fashion, art, postal services, telecom, energy, construction & real estate, the automotive industry, aviation, and aerospace. He represents the [[Intellectual Property Constituency]] in the [[Non-contracted Party House]] of the [[GNSO Council]].
==Career History==
Since October 2017, Petillion has been the Managing Partner at the law firm Petillion.
Since January 2016, he has been a member of the [[ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR]], focusing on climate change-related disputes. Since May 2006, he has been a chairman and party-appointed arbitrator in IP disputes for [[WIPO]]. Since December 2016, he has been a visiting lecturer at Leuven University.

He acts as an arbitrator for the National Arbitration Forum, the International Trademark Association
Arbitrator, and Cepani.

From 2008 to 2017, he worked at Crowell & Moring LLP as the Intellectual Property and International Disputes Resolution Partner.





==ICANN and Internet Governance Participation==
Petillion has been a GNSO councilor since August 2018. For over ten years, he has been a member of the ICC IP Commission and has contributed to the last three editions of the ICC IP Road Map.
