At ICANN, Rais is a member of NCUC/NCSG, associated with APRALO, and is closely working with the SSR team at [[ICANN]] for [[DNSSEC]] related issues. Rais has also served as a member of the Second Security, Stability and Resilience Review Team (SSR2-RT) at ICANN as a representative of gNSO<ref>[https://community.icann.org/display/SSR/SSR2+Review 2nd SSR Review Team, ICANN]</ref>. He has also drafted the Coaching Guidelines for ICANN Fellowship and lead the working party to finalize the coaching guidelines. Rais also helped in designing the ICANN Learn Course for Fellowship Coaches.
