Poomjit Sirawongprasert has spent a number of years in America, mostly in rather eclectic destinations (Maryland, Alabama, and Kansas; she was able to see some more excitement stateside when she went to New Orleans' famous Mardi Gras. She still fondly remembers the delicious beignets.
