Hughes Statement of Interest]</ref> She represented the interest and voice of non-profit organizations to the [ICANN]] community. She also introduced ICANN's multi-stakeholder model and policy development to different non-profit groups. She was one of the people who initiated the establishment of the [[NPOC|Non-Profit Operational Concerns Constituency]] as new ICANN constituency under the GNSO.
