==Reaction to Schwartz Resignation from ICANN==
During the ICANN International public meeting in Singapore on June 2011, ICANN CEO [[Rod Beckstrom]] expressed his fears that the internet governing body may lose highly qualified staffs due to the implementation of the new gTLD programs on 2012. Different companies are tapping well-experienced individuals in the domain industry to lead their applications for new gTLDs.
