Nancy Gofus' career has largely been focused on the Telecommunications industry. She has worked in top positions with [[AT&T]], [[MCI]], and most recently, [[Verizon]]. At Verizon she was the Senior Vice President of Global Product Management for Verizon Communications (2009) and chief marketing officer at Verizon Business (2006 to 2008). In that role she was developing and overseeing the marketing strategy, advertising, brand management, and product management. As the SVP of Business Products at MCI (2003 to 2005), she was involved in introducing MCI's new generation of services prior its merger with Verizon. It was not the first time she had worked with MCI, where she held the positions of VP of Strategic Global Services, VP of Product Management, and Director of the National Accounts Program from the early to mid 1990s.
