Hostopia saw success under Dirk’s leadership and technological advances for the company, and assisted in the process of taking the company to Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2006, where it raised over $29 million dollars.[1] In 2008, Dirk exited the company after it was sold to Deluxe Corporation for $124 million dollars.[2]
