Klée Aiken is the Senior Advisor – Strategic Engagement & Capacity Building at APNIC, the Regional Internet Registry for the Asia-Pacific. In this role he works to promote APNIC’s vision of a global, open, stable, and secure Internet across the region’s 56 economies as well as internationally. He is also an Advisory Board member of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE), which works for more informed, complimentary, and impactful cyber capacity building.

Previously he was APNIC’s External Relations Manager and prior to joining the APNIC team he was an analyst with the International Cyber Policy Centre at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) where he researched domestic and regional cyber policy developments. He has also spent several years working in DC, serving stints with the International Technology and Trade Associates and the Atlantic Council.

Klée is currently a member of the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA), Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace (GCSC) Research Advisory Group, APrIGF Multistakeholder Steering Group, and the Council of Regional Organisations in the Pacific (CROP) ICT Working Group's Cybersecurity Task Force.

Klée holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the Universiteit van Amsterdam and a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Anthropology from Trinity College (CT).
