My name is Abdeali Hatim Saherwala and I am from Karachi, Pakistan. I am a participant in the NextGen@ICANN66 conference. I became aware of ICANN because my university was encouraging students to apply for this conference by posting it on their social media. From there, I became interested because I have several ideas regarding the reduction of foreign influence on our social media during elections and want to know more about how we are connected through the power of the internet. I am currently in my fourth year of Honours. Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies with a specialization in Urban and Regional Environments. I am hoping to utilize this experience for my Master’s degree related to environmental policy, public policy or global affairs.
