Chenai Chair is a researcher at Research ICT Africa (RIA) and holds an MSocSci specialising in Global Studies, BSocSci (hon) in Industrial relations and a BSocSci in Gender Studies and Industrial Relations from the University of Cape Town. She works on evidence-based policy making in the ICT sector that would foster great social and economic inclusion. She works extensively on RIA’s African Mobile Pricing (RAMP) data collection and analysis, keeping track of pricing patterns in telecommunications in Africa. Her areas of focus include gender, youth and the informal sector and internet governance issues in Africa.
