I’m Dr. Karan Verma, I am an Indian national (Rajasthan) and currently assistant professor at Central University of Rajasthan, it's Indian government University. My BE in Information Technology from Govt. College Rajasthan in 2008, M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2010 and Ph.D in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia in 2015, respectively.
I have a strong interest in information security, IPv6, 5g and I am currently working on Intelligent Transport System Security, IPv6, BGP. I developed a new Combined Model (IP-CHOCK Reference) which includes detection and prevention of DoS attacks. Currently i have handle 2 research DST project, I was submitted project in Beynod the net funding programme "To develop next generation regional retail cluster 24x7 connectivity to customer" as well as submitted 2 project in ISIF Asia Region "APNIC internet operations research grants and internet society cyber-security grants.
I have been attending IETF meeting since 2015. I received ISOC fellowship 2nd time. It’s my pleasure and privilege to attend the IETF 96 meeting in Berlin, Germany. I'm also involved in the ISOC Delhi Chapter. My main interest in IETF meeting is to understand the procedures that are being followed in the IETF for protocol standardization. I am passionate to build a community and look for ways to improve others’ understanding as well as to give them hope on reliable information especially about Internet standards and understanding about IT environment.
