I first learnt about ICANN when I studied intellectual property for my law degree. Since then, I have decided to complete an honours thesis concerning the protection of ‘well-known marks’ in the Domain Name System. I am looking forward to taking part in ICANN60 by sharing my views on what I see as important issues concerning the Domain Name System in Australasia. Because I intend on a career in dispute resolution, I am also interested to learn about the Policy Development Process for Rights Protection Mechanisms.

I intend on continuing my involvement with ICANN in the future, and see the NextGen@ICANN program as an excellent opportunity to begin that involvement.
