Kondwani Mbale is an emerging leader in internet governance, artificial intelligence, and robotics. Passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems, Kondwani has actively contributed to various initiatives, including serving as a NextGen@ICANN80 participant, where he presented on the role of AI in internet governance. He is a dedicated member of the Internet Society and AFALO, working to promote digital inclusion and capacity building in Africa. Beyond internet governance, Kondwani is deeply involved in robotics and STEM education. He has represented Zambia at the FIRST Global Challenge (FGC) in 2023 and 2024, serving as a Vice Team Captain and later as a CAD Designer and Team Driver. Kondwani is also a laureate of the International Youth Competition for Scientific and Sci-Fi Works by the Center for Modeling the Future, where he was recognized for his innovative approach to emerging technologies. He has participated in AWS DeepRacer, the Climate Science Olympiad, and the Skills School of the Future, further showcasing his commitment to science, technology, and education. Currently, Kondwani is expanding his expertise by pursuing an Artificial Intelligence. With a vision to bridge the gap between AI, robotics, and policy, he aspires to contribute meaningfully to the global tech ecosystem, ensuring that emerging technologies are harnessed for social good.
