Maureen L.D. Owusu-Addae is a passionate Internet Governance and Cybersecurity Advocate with a strong background in healthcare and digital transformation. She is a proud Fellow and Fellowship Representative of the Ghana School on Internet Governance (GhanaSIG), a member of the Internet Society (ISOC) and the Internet Society Ghana Chapter, and an active contributor to Women in Internet Governance (WIG), founded by Raymond Mamattah. Maureen also supports digital education as an assistant to the instructor at the Cisco Ghana Academy, under the mentorship of Mawuko Kpatah.
In addition to her digital advocacy, Maureen is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and professional chauffeur. She is affiliated with global initiatives such as Women in Cloud (WIC) led by Chaitra Vedullapalli and the Africa Information and Communication Technologies Alliance (AFICTA).
Her advocacy spans digital inclusion, AI governance, cybersecurity, internet freedom, and women's empowerment in tech. She is committed to shaping inclusive internet policies and expanding access to digital skills across communities.
