Michael Bauland is the chair of the Latin Script Diacritics PDP. He also currently holds the RrSG Treasurer position and is part of RrSG's Excom.
From 2017 onwards he was a member of the Latin Generation Panel (Latin GP) for the RZ-LGR. The Latin GP concluded its work in 2022.
Michael also participated in the ccPDP4 as well as the IDN EPDP working groups.
He works for Knipp Medien und Kommunikation GmbH (since 2007) as a Senior Systems Architect. At Knipp he participated in the development of their registry backend TANGO Registry Services as well as the anycast DNS infrastructure ironDNS and CORE's registrar system GatewayNG.
