Nabeel Yasin is a distinguished ICT professional from Yemen, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in IT and Internet Governance while holding a bachelor's degree in computer science that provides him with a solid educational foundation. His commitment to lifelong learning is evident through several certifications, including CompTIA A+ and various Microsoft credentials such as MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), and MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer).

With nearly 15 years of experience as an ICT Team Leader at TeleYemen, Yemen's primary internet service provider and gateway, Nabeel has developed extensive skills in managing and leading teams within the ever-evolving landscape of information and communication technology.

Nabeel's enthusiasm for internet governance and dedication to fostering positive change are evident in his active participation in numerous organizations and initiatives. As a fellow at ICANN 73 and 75, he has engaged with global stakeholders to help shape policies governing the internet. He is also a committed member of ICANN APRALO (Asia-Pacific Regional At-Large Organization) and participates in the ICANN APRALO Policy Forum, collaborating with peers to tackle significant internet-related challenges. Additionally, he is an unaffiliated individual member of ICANN APRALO.

Understanding the critical need to bridge the digital divide and empower communities through technology, Nabeel founded a non-profit training and consulting center, nabeelyasin.net. As CEO, he envisions this center as a catalyst for digital capacity building, focusing on internet governance, ICT, and digital literacy. Through training and consultancy services, he aims to equip individuals and organizations in his community with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in the digital era.

Nabeel’s center strives to diminish disparities in digital access, ensuring that individuals from all backgrounds have equal opportunities to utilize digital technologies for personal and professional advancement.
