Prof. Adenike Osofisan is a native of Akure.
I graduated from University of Ife, now. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife in 1976 with B.Sc. Computer Science/Economics. I got my M.Sc. degree in Information and Computer Science from Georgia Tech, Atlanta in 1979 and Ph.D Computer Science from OAU, Ile Ife in 1986 as the first Nigeria female to have a PhD in Computer Science. I became a Professor of Computer Science in 2006, also to become the first female Professor of Computer. Science in Nigeria. I also have MBA Accounts and Finance 1993 from University of Ibadan Nigeria with nine distinctions as the best student in my set. I am a fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society, fellow of Nigeria Institute of Management and the first female President and Chairman of Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) 2005-2009. I am the foundation and current Director, University of Ibadan School of Business (UISB) Nigeria. B
