Raphael Silveiras has a bachelor in Social Science, is master in Sociology, and he is a PhD candidate in Sociology at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). During his bachelor degree, he studied mainly the social coercion, second Emile Durkheim, Pierre Bourdieu, and Michel Foucault. At the same time, Raphael developed some studies about formal education and teach sociology in high school. After that, he did a master degree about the relationship between civil society and the Brazilian State on the Internet through two Brazilian public consultations that happened in Brazil: Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet and the Copyright Law Reform. Currently, Raphael is on his PhD research in Sociology that is concerned about analyzing the Internet’s infrastructure through its political dimension using the sociological and philosophical approach, which is anchored on some intellectuals such as Michel Foucault and Gilles Deleuze.
