Theorose is Ghanaian and the youngest Lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Media Studies, Ghana Institute of Journalism, where she teaches New Media. She is a first-year doctoral student at Kent State University where she is researching the intersection of journalism, technology, and the use of new media platforms for news production. She is the secretary for the Internet Society Ghana. Before becoming secretary, she was the programs and Communication Chair for the Internet Society Ghana Chapter. She is currently tutoring Encryption with the Internet Society Foundation. Theorose has published various digital rights-related articles on the following platforms: Association for Progressive Communicators (APC), Citinewsroom.com, and Joyonline.com. She is a 2019 Ecowas Fellows on Internet Governance Alumni, a 2024 ICANN NextGen, a 2024 North American School of Internet Governance fellow and the founder of Digispace Africa, a not-for-profit organization. Outside academia, she volunteers with organizations like #DearGovernments as the Director for strategic collaborations and partnerships and IoT Network Hub Ghana. She aspires to be the youngest professor in new media and an avid advocate for Encryption and youth participation.
