Mohammed Zakir Patel worked with LogicBoxes as a Business Development Operations Liaison from 2007 to 2011. In 2011 he joined the founding team of Qatar Domains Registry and played an active role in launching the .qa ccTLD and its registrar accreditation and management until 2018. He travels to ICANN conferences to interact with registrars and ccTLD registries.
